As I was chatting with a client yesterday, we were trying to find a date for her fall family session. It took us a minute to get her a date that would work. This had me thinking….I should probably let other families know that fall bookings are already starting. In years past my Fall calendar would fill up around August/September. However, this year, before the snow has even melted, clients are reaching out for those fall sessions.
From about Fall to Christmas photographers are in over-drive shooting, culling, and editing; we all start to go a little zombie-like by the holidays and start to quote longer turn around times to play catch-up. This is the reason why I don’t offer Fall mini sessions; I’m far too busy to add that option to my calendar, so if you’re waiting for me to announce fall minis before you book, you are waiting on the wrong photographer. But, if you’re just waiting because you’re not exactly sure when the best time to book your fall family session, now’s the time! Get on my calendar before there are no spots left.
