Baby D

Baby D has made his appearance, and he is oh, so handsome! While there was little hiccup along the way before we could finally document his sweet little face, I think the wait was worth it.

Families are often apprehensive about having a photographer come into their home because they think it needs to be magazine worthy. Guess what? It doesn’t have to be. It just has to have nice light and a new eye to capture the best areas of your home. In these shots there was stuff all around us. Stuff you wouldn’t want in your photos. We just moved then to an area of the room where they would be out of the frame. The first shot here was done on the brown carpet that was in their spare bedroom. While you might see an ugly brown carpet, I saw how the texture and tone would pair well with my fur and wrap.

Another thing I really love about this particular shot is his sweet arms. I love them this way because he hated having his arms wrapped, and so this feels more true to his personality, and when I say hated, I mean incredible Hulk hated. I’ve never seen such a determined baby!
